Strawberry widely available fruit, mostly used in cakes, pie, pastries and smoothies. Another popular way of consuming is Jam, Strawberry Jam is easily available in the supermarket but with chemical preservatives.
Sharing the easy way around to market Jam, Home-made Strawberry jam all you need is fresh strawberry and sugar. It is not only an easy recipe but instant as well. Strawberry is very rich in Vitamin C and magnesium and potassium, they are known for their anti-oxidant properties and overall benefit heart and blood sugar levels.

- Preparation Time 5 minutes
- Cooking Time 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Strawberry 6 - 7 (100 gms)
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Lemon Juice 1/2 tsp
Directions
- Roughly chop the strawberries and blend them coarsely.
- Transfer the paste to a pan with sugar and cook this mixture on low flame till the liquid evaporates.
- Once the mixture is thick and water is evaporated turn off the flame and the lemon juice.
- Let the mixture cool down completely, store in a dry airtight container. Quick Strawberry Jam is ready!!
Instant Kitchenette Tip
- Always add lemon juice towards the end.
