Hey there, I am Smriti and Smritiz'Kitchenette is my small corner of the web! 

What begun as a casual pastime for evenings and weekends and now turned into my passion. I live in Kolkata, West Bengal with my husband and our little angel. My favorite things in life are a big plate of homemade food, sunny days, and going to the park with my family.

In this space, I am always sharing fresh, flavorful, (for the most part) healthy recipes that I love to create and eat in my real, actual, everyday life. If I wouldn’t eat it in real life, I won’t put it on the blog. My objective is to inspire you with food that is both approachable and exciting, whether you’re cooking for yourself, your family, or your friends. I want you to be so excited about these recipes that you eagerly await 6 pm when you can go home from work and start cooking.
