Kada Prasad or Whole Wheat Halwa is a delicacy is served regularly at gurudwara during Langar, it is also made as prasad during Navratri and Jagrata. A Simple recipe with very few ingredients is a tasty sweet dessert. This halwa also compliments your brunch and make them complete.

Pupil also make Atta ka Halwa during Satyanarayan Puja, Kanjak as prasad. It is scared offering in Pujas and Gurudwaras.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 2 cup
  • Clarified Butter / Ghee 1 cup

Method

Atta halwa is scared offering in temples and gurudwara. It is Sweet dessert often served during Langar,Jagrata

Take a pan add ghee add flour and roast it on low flame till it turns aromatic and golden. Now add water mix it very well as we want a smooth texture lump-free, now add sugar and cook through. Cook till everything comes together and it starts leaving ghee. Turn off the flame, your Kada Prasad is ready!! Serve hot.




Instant Kitchenette Tip

You can make sugar syrup (heat the water till sugar dissolves completely) first and then add it instead of adding them separately.
