Butter Garlic Crispy Potatoes Restaurant Style

Sharing the recipe of Potato that you normally find in restaurants and buffets. The flavours of garlic and mixed Italian herb along with the butter garlic taste will amaze you to the extent that you will be tempted to repeat the recipes at the earliest.

Ingredients

  • Baby Potatoes 1/2 kg ( 10 - 12)
  • Butter  2 tbs
  • Garlic  7 - 8 cloves crushed and chopped
  • Mixed Herbs 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Flakes 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander handful
  • Spring Onions for garnish
  • Rice Flour 1 tbsp

Direction

Crispy Potatoes with butter garlic flavours add a delight to table and enhance the taste of meal or snack. You will surly love the mixed herb, added chilly flakes and garnishing with fresh coriander leaves.
Take a saucepan to add 3 cups of water, add salt and bring it to boil.
  • Peel the potatoes cut them into halves and blanch them into the boiling water for 5 mins.
  • Now drain off the water and pour cold water over the potatoes to stop further cooking. 
  • Now heat a small pan add butter, add garlic saute for one minute.
  • Take a mixing bowl add blanched potatoes and add the garlic butter to the potatoes.
  • Add the mixed herbs, chili flakes, rice flour, and coat well.
  • Heat a pan with some oil/ butter in it shallow fry the potatoes for 5 - 6 mins on a medium flame till they turn golden brown. take them out.
  • Add coriander leaves, spring onions and serve hot 


Instant Kitchenette Tip

  • Add 1 tbs spoon of Schezwan sauce to make it a little spicy.
  • Add 1 tbs spoon of fresh lemon juice to give it a tangy twist.
