Paneer or cottage cheese is a healthy option for snacks, it is good for bones as it has calcium and vitamin B, and other benefits including magnesium and protein. You will find this recipe easy, quick and tasty.

Ingredients

  • Paneer (crumbled)  2 cups
  • Onions (chopped) 1/4 cup
  • Green Chillies  3 - 4 chopped
  • Ginger (chopped)  1 tsp
  • Rice Flour  1 tbsp
  • Cornflour  4 tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander Hand full
  • Salt to taste
  • Precessed Cheese  15 - 16
  • Water  3 - 4 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs  7 - 8 tbsp
  • Oil for Deep Frying

Directions

Paneer Balls are crisp outside and soft & tender from inside, that the kind of effect you will experience. while having Cheese Paneer Balls
  • Take a big mixing bowl add crumbled paneer, chopped ginger, green chilies, onions, fresh coriander, salt, 2 tbsp cornflour, and make a tight dough by mixing all the ingredients.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions of small balls, you can make almost 15 - 16 balls with this mixture.
  • Shape each portion of the mixture into a flat round and put a small cube of cheese in the center, bring all the sides together and seal them completely.
  • Take a small bowl add 2 tbsp of cornflour, rice flour, water, and make a slurry of it.
  • Now take the cheese balls dip in the slurry and coat with the bread crumbs and deep fry on medium flame till they turn golden brown and crispy from all the sides. Your Crispy Paneer Cheese Balls are ready!! serve with fresh coriander chutney or any dip of your choice.

Instant Kitchenette Tip

  • You can also use boiled potatoes instead of paneer or you can use both.
  • If you do not have bread crumbs at home you can use rolled oats or crushed chips of your choice, chips will enhance the taste also.
  • To make it more healthy you can add veggies like carrots, capsicum of your choice also.
